Mission
The general nature and purpose of the Foundation is to encourage, solicit, receive and manage gifts, bequests of property and funds for educational and charitable purposes at Moultrie Technical College. The Foundation strives to stimulate community awareness of the benefits offered by our college and to supplement available resources through private funding. We passionately support the college in its mission to contribute to the economic and educational development of our community. The MTC Foundation welcomes ideas and input.
Message from the Foundation Board Chairman
Being the Chairman of the Foundation for Moultrie Technical College is not only an honor, it is food for the soul. Having seen so many lives that have been transformed forever through their educational accomplishments is an immeasurable blessing. From the gifts made to the Foundation, numerous scholarships are made available to enhance the possibilities for a student to complete their education.
New equipment and technology are vital in the school’s efforts to provide the best of the best when training future employees that are ready for today’s workforce. These needs are also met when supplemented by funds that are available through the generosity of pledges and donations to the Foundation.
In order to see the full picture of a great success story, attend a Moultrie Technical College graduation. It will truly touch your heart. You will have the opportunity to see first hand a young mother holding a diploma that she has always dreamed of; a grandmother who receives her GED; and the young person who reminds you of your son or daughter beam with pride when receiving their diploma and their GED simultaneously. I have no doubt that we are doing the right things for the right reasons in our support of Technical and Adult Education.
