The Neuromuscular Therapy program consists of a sequence of courses that prepares students for careers in the field of Neuromuscular Therapy. Learning opportunities develop academic and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention and advancement. Program graduates are to be competent in the general areas of humanities or fine arts, social or behavioral sciences, and natural sciences or mathematics. In addition, the program emphasizes specialized training in areas such as Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Postural Analysis, Identification of Diseases and Conditions, Medical Documentation, Therapeutic Stretching, and Client Care. Program graduates receive a diploma in Neuromuscular Therapy, which qualifies them to take the national certification examination.
