The Public Works Civil Technician associate degree program is designed to develop future public works professionals to meet the increasing demand in the field. The PWCT Program is designed to train current Georgia Department of Transportation, public works industry employees, and high school graduates for successful performance in the public works construction and maintenance career area. Graduates will be prepared to assume entry-level positions in public works infrastructure construction, construction inspection, and public works infrastructure maintenance. Program graduates receive a Public Works Civil Technician Associate of Applied Technology degree.
