Industrial Maintenance Skill Assessments and Training

Improve the performance of your company by evaluating the mechanical and electrical skills of your maintenance workforce. Our Maintenance Assessment will help identify shortcomings in your maintenance staff. Using our comprehensive assessment tool, which consists of written and performance evaluations, you'll know exactly what skill enhancement each emplyee needs. The E-learning library is a 100% online source of instruction covering many maintenance and industrial disciplines. These courses are accessible from any high speed internet ready computer 24/7. OSHA Compliance Workshops

These 10-hour training programs provide an awareness of safety and health standards associated with OSHA’s requirements. Cards will be issued to participants. Courses can be customized to your business needs.

General Industry   Length: 10 hours   Cost: $195 per person

OSHA General Industry Compliance
This 30-hour general industry safety program is designed especially for employers with management and leadership employees designated to manage or lead the safety program to other employees.

Length: 30 hours   Cost: $495    
Tifton   March 15-19   8 am - 5 pm (M-F)
         

 

Fire Safety
This course provides awareness in general fire safety as it pertains to OSHA standards. Covered in the course is the proper usage of portable fire extinguishers, classes of fires, fire behaviors, hazards and fire protection.

Hazardous Communication
In compliance with the OSHA standard, this course provides basic awareness for proper storage, labeling, usage and handling of combustible and flammable liquids and chemicals. It provides information on MSDA, emergency procedures, and employee information and training.

Ergonomics Awareness
Ergonomics is a science that focuses on designing the job to fit the worker, rather than fitting the worker to the job; this helps reduce or eliminate workplace situations where disabilities can develop slowly over time and possibly go unnoticed by management.

Lockout/Tagout
Most industrial accidents are caused by the uncontrolled release of hazardous energy. Many of these accidents are preventable by using proper lockout/tagout procedures. This course provides the understanding and importance of the OSHA standard pertaining to energy control.

 

AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEMS

This course provides preparation for assessing and reducing the loss potential in the industrial setting with respect to fire. Reducing the loss potential involves testing, maintenance, and inspection of automatic fire sprinkler systems.

 

CERTIFICATION

Forklift Certification
OSHA compliant Forklift Certification classes are provided for companies who require employees to drive a forklift truck. Note: Forklift re certification must be completed every 3 years.
Cost: $75 each

Welding Certification
Welding Certifications are given by appointment only. Testing is provided for AWS welding procedures.
Pipe: $125 ~ Plate: $100

Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification
Under the Clean Air Act, intentionally venting refrigerant into the atmosphere is illegal. The Act prohibits releasing refrigerants during maintenance, servicing, and disposal of refrigerant and air conditioning equipment. The rules that became effective in May, 1993, will be covered in the workshop. The cost includes textbooks and examination fee.
Length: 6 hours ~ Cost: $89
