Find Materials - The Library Catalog and other online resources.

Get a Library Card – The Library Card/MTC ID is issued in the library at no charge except for replacements. Other Exceptions will be explained when services are requested.

Borrow Materials from the Other Campus – The Library staff will assist you with Intra Library Loan. The materials will be delivered to your campus of choice for pickup.

Borrow Materials from Other Libraries – MTC students with a valid ID may check out materials from any DTAE (Department of Technical and Adult Education) Library nearest you, the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (Tifton) or through the local public library (PINES – Public Information Network).

Find Books in the Library - Books are arranged by the Library of Congress Classes/Classification (Call Number by Subject Sequence).

Find a List of Magazines and Journals in the Library - From the Library Homepage, Click on “Faculty Resources/Pathfinders.” At the top of the page you will see a link to “Periodicals” to view the list.

Make copies – We have photocopying services at no charge for school related work and printing capability from the computer workstations.

Keep up with the GALILEO Password – Call or stop by the library or check with your Instructor. The password (remote access) changes quarterly.

Receive Services if I am not enrolled – Community patrons in our service area are welcome.

Watch Videos or DVDs – The Moultrie and Tifton locations have viewing rooms equipped to viewVideos and/or DVDs. Equipment may vary at locations.

Renew my ID – Renewal is done by extending the expiration date for ongoing borrowing privileges. Library staff will post or explain any exceptions involving the retaking of photos.

Sign up for my Exams to be Proctored – Follow this path from the MTC Homepage: Click on Online Learning/Proctoring/Proctored Exam Request Form (PERF).

Find articles online/access databases from home - Start with www.galileo.usg.edu

Find the MTC School Code – The Code is 005255.

Install software that comes with my textbook on a Library PC – No installation allowed.

Obtain the username and password to log on to Georgia Career Information Center (GCIC) – Check at the front desk for assistance from Library staff.
