Moultrie Tech Student Named
State PBL President


Moultrie Technical College computer information systems student John Gay, center, was elected state president for Phi Beta Lambda [PBL], the student business organization for Georgia’s 34 technical colleges, at the state conference held April 15 and 16 in Atlanta.  In other competitions held during the PBL conference, Moultrie Tech students placed within the top four in the Word Processing, Desktop Publishing, Visual Basic, Human Resource Management, Local Chapter Business Report and International Business categories.  Gay placed first in the International Business category, while April Gordon, second from the left, placed second in the Visual Basic category.  Both will travel to Orlando, Florida this summer for the National competition.  Winners also pictured are Rhonda Swan, end left, Angela Hardin, second from right, and Ebony Stanford, end right.
