Sends Items to Soldiers


Moultrie Technical College's Tifton campus chapter of Phi Beta Lambda recently held a drive to collect items for soldiers stationed overseas.  On November 10, 2005, the chapter sent items to Corporal Justin Hendley, pictured right, who is stationed in Iraq and is the son of MTC student and PBL member Clara Warren, pictured left.  Hendley is serving his second tour of duty in Iraq with the United States Marines.  The chapter will also be sending items to Steven Potts, son of MTC Computer Information Systems instructor and Tifton PBL advisor Lester Potts. Steven is currently stationed in Korea.  According to Tifton PBL advisor Becky Richardson, "With the recent celebration of Veterans Day and the coming celebration of Thanksgiving, we are truly thankful and appreciative to our troops who protect and fight for our freedom."
