ServSafe, an Employee Food Safety Certification Course


Several Moultrie Technical College Adult Literacy and TANF students, as well as two Tift County DFCS clients, recently completed ServSafe, an Employee Food Safety Certification course offered through Moultrie Tech’s Tifton Campus and the Tift County Extension Service.  Judy Bland of the Extension Service served as the instructor for the course.  In this two day training students learned about the importance of handling food safely in the restaurant business. Class completers were, from left, Elvida Hernandez, Brandon Britton, Brittany Smith, LeAnn Golden, Angela Nichols, and Bertha Benton.  Not pictured are Melinda Robinson and Latasha Wilson.
