A Different Animal

Moultrie Technical College President Tina Anderson and dairy farmer Ricky Sparkman swapped jobs on September 12 and 13 to see just how life is different working on the other side of the pasture.  Dr. Anderson said of her experience, “I love working with students and watching them achieve success through education. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Ricky and the depth of knowledge required to operate his dairy business.  I believe that Ricky's knowledge and experience suits him well for managing and operating a dairy, and my knowledge and experience works well in leading Moultrie Technical College.  The experience of the Ag Switch program was very valuable and allowed me to obtain knowledge about a successful third-generation agricultural business in Colquitt County.”
