Moultrie Tech Inducts 34 into
Honor Society
Moultrie Technical College inducted 34 of its brightest students into the National Technical Honor Society on June 13 at the college’s annual Student Awards Ceremony. Students represented all of MTC’s service delivery area of Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties.
MOULTRIE , GA. Moultrie Technical College inducted 34 students into its National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) organization at the college’s annual Student Awards Ceremony on June 13 at the Veterans Parkway Campus in Moultrie. NTHS is a non-profit honor organization for students enrolled in occupational and technical programs at the college level. Inductees must be diploma or degree seeking students, have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.75, have completed at least 45 credit hours, have a satisfactory work ethics evaluation and be nominated by a Moultrie Technical College instructor. Benefits of NTHS membership include special recognition at graduation, a diploma seal and letters of recommendation to potential employers when students begin their job searches following graduation. According to the national office of NTHS, many employers specifically seek new hires through the organization because of the high level of work ethics and intelligence found in its members.
