Moultrie Tech PBL Receives National Award from March of Dimes


March of Dimes regional director Mari McEwen, second from left, presented Moultrie Technical College representatives with a National Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) Award recognizing the student business organization as the third place team in the nation for local chapter support of the March of Dimes.  MTC’s PBL students and advisors from the college’s Moultrie and Tifton campuses collected over $3,700 for WalkAmerica, a two and a half-mile walk which raises money to support premature birth awareness.  Pictured left to right with McEwen at the first organizational meeting for the Colquitt County March of Dimes WalkAmerica held on September 28 are MTC PBL advisor Pierre Rogers, MTC president Tina Anderson and MTC PBL advisor Hugh Lofton.
