ASHBURN, GA. Need a job? Need an employee?
Consider coming to the Career Fair, planned for Thursday, March 9 at the Civic Center from 4-7 p.m.
Area employers are being invited to set up a no-charge booth at the Civic Center that afternoon. Employers should come prepared to explain what kind of business they are in, what kind of employees they are looking for and how someone can go about applying for a job with the company.
To have a booth at the career fair, call the Chamber of Commerce at 567-9696.
Those looking for a job should show up at the Job Fair as if they were going to a job interview. Bring a pen and be ready to fill out a job application also.
Talent Tree, an employment agency in Tifton, is supplying free hotdogs and soft drinks for those attending.
The career fair is sponsored by the Department of Labor, Moultrie Technical College, the Chamber of Commerce, County Commission, City of Ashburn and the Fun
