CCHS Students Refurbish DNR Boat through Moultrie Tech Project
Colquitt County High School students in Moultrie Technical College’s dual-enrollment program presented Georgia Department of Natural Resources representative, Corporal Mark Carson, third from the right, with a refurbished DNR boat on September 8 at the college’s Industrial Drive campus in Moultrie. The students, who receive both high school and college credit for the classes they take in the Automotive Collision program at MTC, refinished the boat as a part of their training with instructor Don Scott, second from the left. DNR officers plan to use the boat to patrol lakes and rivers in the South Georgia area.
