Moultrie Tech Students Help Fellow Classmate in Need


Students in Moultrie Technical College’s Early Childhood Care and Education program recently reached out to a classmate who lost her home and all its contents to a fire.  With the help of the Phi Beta Lambda organization and the Moultrie Tech Foundation, classmates collected school supplies, book bags, notebooks, clothing and other necessities to help their fellow student get her children ready to begin school. The fire was the second major disaster of its kind for the family which lost their home in Mitchell County in 2000 to the Valentine’s Day tornados.
