Moultrie Tech Donates Toys
to Ruth's Cottage

Many of Moultrie Technical College’s staff members and student leaders recently packed bags full of Christmas toys for Ruth's Cottage in Tifton. Those involved were MTC’s Student Leadership Council, SkillsUSA and Phi Beta Lambda student organizations, President Tina Anderson, Vice-president of Instruction Jim Glass, Vice-president of Student Services Scott Hudson, Director of Student Activities Darbie Avera, Admissions Assistant Karen McCardle, Director of Student Services Kim Rutland, Vice-president of Satellite Operations Shawn Utley, Director of Admissions Leigh Wallace, Director of Institutional Effectiveness Mary Beth Watson, Director of Instruction Tina Strickland as well as Moultrie’s Liberty Realty Company. The bags of toys were designated for foster children served in Moultrie Tech’s four-county service area of Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth. MTC’s Student Leadership Council also donated $1000 to the cause for Ruth’s Cottage. Pictured, left to right, with the donated toys are Hudson and Avera.
