MTC Student Leadership Donates to YMCA for Halloween Safety

Moultrie Technical College’s Student Leadership Council (SLC) recently teamed up with the Moultrie YMCA Primetime after-school program to keep children safe during the upcoming Halloween season.  The SLC purchased and donated hundreds of glow-in-the-dark “Trick or Treat” bags with safety tips on the back from the “McGruff, the Crime Dog” project.  Pictured, left to right, are MTC Student Activities director Darbie Avera, SLC vice-president Brandi Anderson, YMCA staff members Marc Montgomery and Leigh Jenkins, and SLC president Josh Oliver.  MTC’s Student Leadership Council is made up of officers from the college’s various clubs such as Delta Epsilon Chi, Phi Beta Lambda, the Roentgen Ray Society and SkillsUSA on its campuses in Moultrie, Tifton, Ashburn and Sylvester.
