Moultrie Tech Inducts 13 into Honor Society

Moultrie Technical College inducted 13 of its most accomplished students into the National Technical Honor Society on November 30 at the college’s semi-annual ceremony. MOULTRIE , GA. Moultrie Technical College inducted 13 students into its National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) organization at the college’s semi-annual ceremony on November 30 at the Veterans Parkway Campus in Moultrie. Inducted students represent the college’s four-county service area of Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth.
NTHS is a non-profit honor organization for students enrolled in occupational and technical programs at the college level.
Vice-president of Student Services Scott Hudson, vice-president of Instruction Jim Glass and coordinator of Career Services and NTHS advisor Joy Warnock assisted with the induction ceremony. Ms. MTC 2006 and NTHS inductee Ray Bloser gave the invocation.
NTHS inductees must be diploma or degree seeking students, have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.75, have completed at least 45 credit hours, have a satisfactory work ethics evaluation and be nominated by a Moultrie Technical College instructor.
Benefits of NTHS membership include special recognition at graduation, a diploma seal and letters of recommendation to potential employers when students begin their job searches following graduation.
According to the national office of NTHS, many employers specifically seek new hires through the organization because of the high level of work ethics and intelligence found in its members.
This quarter’s inductees are business office technology students Regina DePriest, Tracy Harper, Sally Murray and Megan Sawyer; cosmetology students Andrea Battle, Ray Bloser, Charlotte Jackson, Tammy Partain and Valeria Snipes ; Electronics student Andrew Clark; industrial systems technology students Kenneth Bailey and Jason Clements; and medical assisting student Megan Glass.
