Moultrie Tech Pins 17 New Nurses

Moultrie Technical College held its semi-annual Nurse Pinning Ceremony for summer quarter on September 16th at the college’s Veterans Parkway campus conference center.  The ceremony honored 17 graduates from the MTC Moultrie campus’ practical nursing program, which requires six quarters of in-class study and many hours of hands-on clinical experience in area hospitals and physicians’ offices.  The graduates will sit for the Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses exam within the next month to become eligible to be employed as nurses.  Graduates pictured during their candle lighting ceremony are, bottom from left, Jade Heath and Barbara Span; second row from left, Lindsey Gay and Joshua Gay; third row from left, Kimberly James, Jenny Conger and Sara Tillman; fourth row from left, Mary Conley, Kacey Crawford and Laine Anderson; fifth row from left, Anita Garmon and Kelli Atkinson; sixth row from left, Jackie Graves and Lynn Mitchell; and top row from left, Kristin Jernigan, Angie Smith and Kambrea Pridgon.
