During a May 31 class exercise Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education field training officer Wayne Buford, pictured right, instructed Moultrie Technical College Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) student Troy Rowe of Tifton, left, on the correct procedures for breaking car windows and bending metal without harming car accident victims.  With the help of EMT instructors Andy Smith of the MTC Tifton Campus and Junior Horton of the Moultrie Campus, the class experimented with the “Jaws of Life” equipment used to extricate victims from vehicles in crisis situations.  The vehicles used were donated by Cox Auto Parts of Moultrie.  EMT classes will be offered again beginning fall quarter at Moultrie Tech campuses in both Moultrie and Tifton.  For more information on the EMT program, call 891-7000 in Moultrie or 391-2600 in Tifton.
