Southwest Georgia Bank president and CEO DeWitt Drew, left, presented a check to the Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. at the college’s annual Welcome Back Breakfast held Wednesday, September 26, 2007.  Close to 300 MTC faculty and staff members from Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties attended the event as they prepared to open the doors to more than 2,000 students for fall quarter classes.  Drew and fellow bank employees, executive vice-president and cashier John Cole, vice-president Sonny Murphy, senior vice-president and trust officer Geraldine Luff, and marketing staff member Karen Thompson, represented the bank at the college’s event.  MTC president Tina Anderson, right, accepted the donation on behalf of the MTC Foundation which develops resources for college needs such as student scholarships, program equipment and various building projects not covered by state-allocated funds.  The recent donation brings the total given to date to the MTC Foundation from Southwest Georgia Bank to $15,000.
