MTC's Dr. Hugh Lofton Honored for State GOAL Service

Moultrie Technical College's Dr. Hugh Lofton, a business office technology instructor on the college's Moultrie campus, was honored by the Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education's GOAL (Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership) awards program for his many years of service on the state organizational committee. The objective of the GOAL program is to recognize and reward excellence among the more than 155,000 students studying full-time at one of Georgia's 38 technical colleges and divisions. MTC president Tina Anderson accepted the certificate on Lofton's behalf at the GOAL award ceremony on May 25 in Atlanta. MTC vice-president for academic affairs Jim Glass, left, presented Lofton, right, with the certificate on May 30 at the college's Veterans Parkway campus in Moultrie.
