Moultrie Tech Names First Supervisory Management Program Graduate

Leslie Peretti, right, walked across the stage of Withers Auditorium at Moultrie Technical College’s semi-annual commencement ceremony held Friday evening, December 14, with the first Supervisory Management program diploma ever bestowed by the College.  Peretti completed all of her management courses through MTC’s online studies program and will continue work toward her diploma in accounting as well.  Dr. Tina Anderson, MTC president, left, celebrated with Peretti and the other members of the summer and fall quarter graduating classes of 2007.    The college recognized 220 technical certificate of credit, associate degree and diploma program graduates in addition to its 130 GED program graduates from the college's four-county service area of Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth.  Computer information systems instructor and 2007 Instructor of the Year Award winner Pierre Rogers led the faculty, staff and graduate processional as the event’s marshal.  MTC board of directors members Brinson Brock of South Georgia Banking Company in Ashburn and Betty Newkirk of the Tift County School System assisted the college's administration in the conferring of awards.
