Moultrie Technical College held its semi-annual Nurse Pinning Ceremony for summer quarter on September 18, 2007 at the college’s Veterans Parkway campus conference center.  The ceremony honored twelve graduates from the MTC Moultrie campus’ practical nursing program, which requires six quarters of in-class study and many hours of hands-on clinical experience in area hospitals and physicians’ offices.  The graduates will sit for the Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses exam within the next month to become eligible to be employed as nurses.  Graduates pictured at their candle lighting ceremony are, bottom to top, left to right, Patricia Saunders, Tina Carruthers, Ashley Saunders, Lyndsay Glass, Gina Polo, Nicole Lanier, Lisa Warren, Shannika Reddick, Lisa Crosby, Tabetha Nester, Marie Sammons and Sonya Stanton.
