Vereen Takes the Helm of Moultrie Tech Board

Will Vereen, corporate vice president of Riverside Manufacturing Company in Moultrie, recently took on the role of chair of the Moultrie Technical College board of directors after six years as a voting member of the board.  He assumes the position held by retired MTC board chair Ellen Eaton, of Tift Regional Medical Center, since 2004.  Vereen, pictured right with MTC president Tina Anderson, left, will serve as the MTC board chair for the next three years.  Other members of the MTC board are Lawton Bassett, III, of Tifton’s Ameris Bank; Bill Boone of the UGA Agriculture Innovation Center; Brinson Brock of Ashburn’s South Georgia Banking Company; Lauren Howell of Riverside Manufacturing Company; Kent Hamilton of Southern Valley Farms; and Dawn Johns of Colquitt Regional Medical Center.
