Moultrie Tech Foundation Awards Fall Book Scholarships

The Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. recently awarded ten students with scholarships to help cover their Fall Quarter 2008 class books and supplies through the MTC Bookstores in Moultrie and Tifton. Book scholarships are provided through the college’s internal fundraising campaign in which MTC faculty and staff members from Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties donate a portion of their monthly salaries to help students and to meet other pressing needs of the college not covered through state-allocated funds. This quarter’s scholarship recipients are, from the MTC Moultrie campus, Sabrina Owens, Joe Peacock, Kimberly Snead and Betty Wetzler; and from the MTC Tifton campus, Allison Romero, Jane Sapp, Clara Sealy, Anthony Tillman, Sada Williams and Stephanie Wilson.
