MTC Tifton's Rogers Gains CDL Examiner Status

Moultrie Technical College ’s Tifton Campus Commercial Truck Driving instructor Kenny Rogers passed the Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Examiners License test on July 11 and became a CDL License Third Party Examiner after passing additional certification tests given July 28 through August 1. Rogers beat the odds and was one of only two students to receive his CDL License Third Party Examiner Certification out of a class of 12. Rogers joins fellow MTC instructor Richard Tucker as a certified third party tester employed by the College. Rogers, pictured right with U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss at the recent USDA grant presentation for Moultrie Tech’s new truck driving simulator, resides in Tifton and joined the MTC faculty in January 2007.
