Moultrie Tech Cuts Ribbon on Downtown Sylvester Adult Education Center

Moultrie Technical College celebrated the opening of the Sylvester-Worth County Adult Education Center in downtown Sylvester with a ribbon cutting event in partnership with the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce on September 30, 2008. The College acknowledged the one-year anniversary of the Center’s opening and the many lives that have been changed through GED classes and test preparation and GED testing. Among the College’s Adult Education faculty, MTC administrators, MTC President Tina Anderson and staff members were several dignitaries including MTC board member and Worth County resident Bill Boone of the UGA Agriculture Innovation Center in Tifton, Georgia State Representative Ed Rynders, Mayor of Sylvester Bill Yearta, Georgia State Senator Joseph Carter and incoming Georgia State Senator John Crosby.
