Moultrie Technical College’s Sylvester-Worth County Campus faculty, staff and dual enrollment students recently gathered their super powers and most creative costumes for the 2008 Worth County High School (WCHS) Homecoming float. With guest super heroes such Super Welder, Super Mario and Luigi, Super Car Audio Installer, Bad Hair Day Girl and Super Cosmetologist, and Super Computer Geek, the college highlighted its Welding, Electronics, Cosmetology and Computer Information Systems programs. The second float entry was Skills USA (WCHS Chapter) with special guest Iron Man, one of MTC’s Welding students. Many of the college’s dual enrollment students participated in the parade representing several organizations. According to MTC Sylvester-Worth County Campus supervisor Lester Potts, a fun time was had by all. The college would like to thank Justin “Woody” Fowler for the use of his truck to pull the float and Richard Patton for the use of the trailer.
