Moultrie Tech GED Students Get Their Zumba On!

Moultrie Technical College ’s (MTC) Adult Education department celebrated the end of a successful quarter and fiscal year with a special surprise from the Moultrie YMCA and Wellness Coordinator Leslie Peretti. Students were awarded certificates and t-shirts and treated to a hot dog lunch after a morning spent learning the Latin dance and exercise moves of Zumba. The celebration marked the department’s success of exceeding the goal of 45 percent of students who completed a learning level. With an additional and unexpected five percent growth, over 50 percent of the students enrolled in Colquitt County Adult Education programs made a measured improvement from July 2007 to June 2008.
