Moultrie Tech Announces
Fall MTC Challenge Winner

Moultrie Technical College recently announced the winner of its fall quarter MTC Challenge online contest conducted through the College’s new website August 8 through September 30. Whitney Hathcock of Moultrie, pictured second from the right, was chosen in a random drawing of all participants who correctly identified the high tech gadget featured in this quarter’s contest. The featured piece of equipment was a Bovie Electrosurgical Unit used in MTC’s Surgical Technology program. The unit is used to cut and coagulate human tissue during surgical procedures. Hathcock won a high tech gadget of her own - a TomTom GPS Navigator for her vehicle. MTC’s winter quarter online contest will begin on November 7 and will feature a new gadget from one of its programs. The lucky winner of the winter quarter contest, to be announced January 9, will receive an Apple iPod Touch MP3 Player.
