Moultrie Tech and Tiftarea Academy Graduate First Environmental Horticulture Class

Evan Thomas Sumner of Sumner, Georgia, pictured left, graduated from Moultrie Technical College (MTC) on June 16th with a diploma in Environmental Horticulture. Sumner was one of the first dual enrollment students to graduate from Tiftarea Academy (TA) on May 23, 2008 and also graduate from MTC at the same time. His parents are Rhonda and Tommy Sumner, also of Sumner. Other students who also graduated from TA and MTC but are not pictured are Bryce Brandenburg of Tifton, Clint Holley of Sylvester, and Tyson McMillan of Enigma. Environmental Horticulture instructor Cherie White is pictured with Sumner. White began the program in the fall of 2005, and these students represent the first graduating class of the program.
