Moultrie Technical College held its semi- annual Nurse Pinning Ceremony for winter quarter on March 21, 2008 at the college’s Veterans Parkway campus conference center.  The ceremony honored 15 graduates from the MTC Moultrie campus’ practical nursing program, which requires six quarters of in-class study and many hours of hands-on clinical experience in area hospitals and physicians’ offices.  The graduates will sit for the Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses exam within the next month to become eligible to be employed as nurses.  Graduates pictured at their candle lighting ceremony are, bottom to top, left to right, Shontekia Bodiford, Julie Saly, Margaret Akumengalame, Darla Hockey, Becky Queen, Kristy Sharp, Lyndsae Overstreet, Janice Fuller, Stephanie Merritt, Crystal Kent, Dana Croft, Katherine Perry, Michael Watts, Donna Woodward and Penny Kastelic.  Not pictured are Practical Nursing instructors Stephanie Ellis and Nancy Hall.
