The Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. recently awarded 11 students with scholarships to help cover their Spring Quarter class books and supplies through the MTC Bookstores in Moultrie, Tifton and Ashburn.  Book scholarships are provided through the college’s internal fundraising campaign in which MTC faculty and staff members from Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties donate a portion of their monthly salaries to help students and to meet other pressing needs of the college not covered through state-allocated funds.  This quarter’s scholarship recipients are, from the Moultrie campus, Andra Adkins, Christopher Clark, Monica DePerro, Molly Emerson, Jeffery Ingle and Joseph Sumner; from the Tifton campus, Rhonda McNeese, Kutana Ponder, Kristy Royals and Carla Waldrop; and from the Turner County campus, Georgeann Barfield.  Pictured, left to right, are MTC Student Affairs Director Kim Rutland, Sumner, Barfield, Ponder, Adkins, and MTC Financial Aid Director Judi Lovvorn.
