Moultrie Tech Foundation Awards Summer Book Scholarships

The Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. recently awarded ten students with scholarships to help cover their Summer Quarter class books and supplies through the MTC Bookstores in Moultrie, Tifton and Ashburn. Book scholarships are provided through the college’s internal fundraising campaign in which MTC faculty and staff members from Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties donate a portion of their monthly salaries to help students and to meet other pressing needs of the college not covered through state-allocated funds. This quarter’s scholarship recipients are, from the Moultrie campus, Perri Adams, Travis Cooper, Donna DuGuid, Rebecca Loftis, Jared Peek and Kristi Roland; from the Tifton campus, Julie Asmussen, Erin Goodemote and Becky Vazquez; and from the Turner County campus, Tabatha Glover.
