MTC Tifton GED Students Get Hands-on with Animal Science

Students from Lisa Marchant's Science III Adult Education class at Moultrie Technical College’s Tifton Campus ventured to Albany, Georgia, on Thursday, May 8, 2008, to visit The Parks at Chehaw and the Flint Riverquarium. This concluded a three-week study on plant and animal science in which the students gained hands-on access to several varieties of local flora and fauna found in the Southwest Georgia area. Besides learning about indigenous species, students were amazed by the close encounters they experienced with cheetahs, zebras, rhinos, and freshwater fish during their field study.
