MTC Vice-President Utley Honored with Tifton Chamber's Branch Award

Moultrie Technical College vice-president of satellite operations, Dr. Shawn Utley, was honored with the 2007 J. Lamar Branch Memorial Award at the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce banquet on January 22, 2008. Sponsored by Century 21, Smith-Branch & Pope, Inc., and chosen by the Chamber's executive board of directors from nominations, the J. Lamar Branch winner is always a newcomer to the Chamber who accepts and fulfills active committee assignments. The character, professionalism and willing manner of J. Lamar Branch are preserved in the award given annually since 1989 to a “Rookie” Chamber of Commerce member who best exhibits Mr. Branch's outstanding style of leadership.
