Moultrie Tech Foundation Awards Winter Quarter Book Scholarships

The Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. recently awarded ten students with scholarships to help cover their Winter Quarter class books and supplies through the MTC Bookstores in Moultrie and Tifton. Book scholarships are provided through the college’s internal fundraising campaign in which MTC faculty and staff members from Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties donate a portion of their monthly salaries to help students and to meet other pressing needs of the college not covered through state-allocated funds. This quarter’s scholarship recipients are Derek Bridges, Kayla Fowler, Kimbaya Hampton, Karen Hartley, Sharon Luster, Connie McCoy, Angela Nichols, Kara Rucker, Rachel Waters and Wanda Young.
