MTC Tifton Campus Celebrates June GED Graduates

Moultrie Technical College celebrated its winter and spring quarter graduating classes of 2009 at a semi-annual Commencement ceremony held Friday evening, June 19, at Withers Auditorium in Moultrie. The college recognized 140 GED program graduates, in addition to 300 certificate, diploma and associate degree program graduates, from the college's four-county service area of Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth. Many of those GED graduates were from the college’s Tifton campus program. Pictured, left to right, in their trademark “MTC teal” caps and gowns are MTC Executive Director of Adult Education Liz Keith, MTC Tifton GED graduates Luisa Saavedra, Velvet Pickett, Irfan Irshad, Ryan Johnson and Taylor Richardson, along with Tifton GED instructor Sandra Griffin.
