An accounting student was recognized as Moultrie Technical College’s GOAL Award winner at a luncheon Monday.
Kimberly Hancock, an accounting student who is also majoring in business administration at the Veterans Parkway campus, was named as the 2009 Georgia Occupational Award for Leadership (GOAL) winner for Moultrie Tech. She won out of four finalists [and 35 nominees] and will represent the school in the regional and state GOAL competitions.
Hancock said she was very surprised to have been named as the winner out of the four finalists. She had the opportunity to meet all four finalists during the interview process and was very impressed by the caliber of each.
