Moultrie Tech Announces Winter

Moultrie Technical College recently announced the winner of its winter quarter MTC Challenge online contest conducted through the College’s new website November 7 through January 7. David Maas of Chula, pictured center, was chosen in a random drawing of all participants who correctly identified the high tech gadget featured in this quarter’s contest. The featured piece of equipment was a five giga-hertz microwave guide used in MTC’s Electronics Technology program. The guides are used in United States military radios. Maas won a high tech gadget of his own - an Apple iPod Touch MP3 player. MTC’s spring quarter online contest will begin on February 13 and will feature a new gadget from one of its programs. The lucky winner of the spring quarter contest, to be announced in April, will receive a 19-inch flatscreen HDTV/DVD Combo.
