The Tifton Campus chapter of Moultrie Technical College’s Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) student organization traveled to Atlanta April 17-19 to participate in the 2009 PBL State Conference and Competition. Phi Beta Lambda is a student organization which promotes business and leadership skills. Jennifer Davis was recognized as Who’s Who in PBL. She was also the recipient of the Mel R. Evans scholarship in the amount of $500 and placed second in the Community Service Project category, fourth in Business Law and fifth in Local Annual Business Report. Lakesha Lundy placed third in Word Processing and fifth in Local Annual Business Report. Vonnie Scott also placed fifth in Local Annual Business Report. The local MTC Tifton Campus chapter placed second for March of Dimes fundraising, first in Foundation Sponsorship and second in Corporate Sponsorship.
