Nine Moultrie Technical College (MTC) students took part in the Sanderson Farms Super Chicken Road Show on February 12. The Super Chicken Road Show is a Sanderson-sponsored program that invites colleges from Georgia and North Florida to participate in a recruiting event for summer internship positions. Because of the skills learned in MTC’s Automotive Technology, Auto Collision and Industrial Systems Technology programs, Moultrie Tech graduates might be eligible to work in Sanderson’s trucking and industrial systems departments in the future. Students attended an evening reception and met with company managers. They also toured the Adel plant and hatchery. MTC Vice President of Student Affairs Scott Hudson and MTC Career Services Director Lisa Griffin attended with the students. MTC students pictured at Sanderson Farms, from left to right, are John King, Durian Pace, Leon Pitts, Ethan Leveret, Michael Nunes, Michael Fletcher and Dewayne Jackson.
