Tifton American Legion Donates Flags to MTC English Language Students

The students in Moultrie Technical College’s English Language Civics class in Tifton were presented small American flags and a classroom flag by Paul Moyer of Post 21 of the American Legion, a patriotic organization which supports veterans. The students in the EL-Civics class taught by MTC’s Nana Whitley study American culture, history and civics to prepare themselves for the naturalization test to become United States citizens. MTC offers day and evening EL-Civics instruction at the Homer Day Workforce Center.
