MTC Turner County Campus Christmas Float

Ashburn-Turner County Chamber of Commerce President Shelley Zorn, far left, presented the Best Overall Award to MTC Turner County Campus Cosmetology instructor Donna Waters, second from the left, for the Moultrie Technical College float in the “Home for the Holidays” Christmas Parade on December 13. The MTC float was a patriotic salute to the men and women in the military. Each star on the float had the name of someone from Turner County in the military. Many members of the MTC Turner County faculty, staff and student bodies contributed to the float. MTC Board member Brinson Brock of Ashburn’s South Georgia Banking Company provided the float trailer.
