Moultrie Technical College’s Cosmetology program in Moultrie recently played host to area beauty salon professionals for the hands-on demonstration of the Chromastics hair color line. Jason Nelson of Chromastics and two platform artists exhibited how the product gives the colorist control of tone, lightening and deposit of the pure tone shades. MTC Cosmetology instructor Paul Tompkins says he was pleased with the involvement of the local professional community. Along with the MTC students, attendees Anna Sumner of Flair Salon, Gail McCarty of Beauty Beyond, Velisha Greeson of Impressions Salon, Amelia and Tasha Neloms of Vive Salon, and Sue Chancy, tried their hands at foil coloring and all-over coloring using the Chromastics system.
