Moultrie Tech Foundation Awards
Fall Book Scholarships

The Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. recently awarded thirteen students with scholarships to help cover their Fall Quarter 2009 class books and supplies through the MTC Bookstores in Moultrie, Tifton and Ashburn. Book scholarships are provided through the college’s internal fundraising campaign in which MTC faculty and staff members from Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties donate a portion of their monthly salaries to help students and to meet other pressing needs of the college not covered through state-allocated funds. This quarter’s scholarship recipients are, from the MTC Moultrie campus, Verlon Bennett, Tiffany Burns, Toni Crockett, Kimberly Hancock and Andrew Sullivan; and from the MTC Tifton campus, Jessica Bailey, Lorain Feagin, David Groover, Kristie Seymour, Charles Talley, Willie Timmons, Jody Womack and Regina Woodruff.
