Moultrie Technical College held its semi-annual Nurse Pinning Ceremony for Winter Quarter on April 3, 2009, at the college’s Veterans Parkway campus conference center. The ceremony honored ten graduates from the MTC Moultrie campus’ Practical Nursing program, which requires six quarters of in-class study and many hours of hands-on clinical experience in area hospitals and physicians’ offices. The graduates will sit for the Georgia Board of Examiners of Licensed Practical Nurses exam within the next month to become eligible to be employed as nurses. Graduates pictured at their candle lighting ceremony are, bottom to top, left to right, Dana DuGuid, Rebecca Ransom, Jana Cooper, Kay Keller, Danielle Croft, Shakina Fields, Stephanie Hall, Karen Olmstead, Tim Chaffey and Lynn Harrell.
