MTC Tifton Hosts High Tech Welding Demos

Moultrie Technical College’s Tifton Campus Welding Technology program played host to more than 70 business and industry representatives in April for the Lincoln Electric and Airgas welding demonstrations in the MTC Welding lab. Moultrie Tech’s welding students took the chance to connect with potential employers in the field of welding and to see some of the latest welding technology as presented by Lincoln Electric Sales Representative Keith Cowan and Airgas Account Manager Glen Lee. Such high-tech machines demonstrated were a welding robot and a computerized welding machine which controls the amount material used by employees to help reduce waste.
