Winter Book Scholarships

The Moultrie Technical College Foundation, Inc. recently awarded thirteen students with scholarships to help cover their winter Quarter 2010 class books and supplies through the MTC Bookstores in Moultrie, Tifton and Ashburn. Book scholarships are provided through the college’s internal fundraising campaign in which MTC faculty and staff members from Colquitt, Tift, Turner and Worth counties donate a portion of their monthly salaries to help students and to meet other pressing needs of the college not covered through state-allocated funds. This quarter’s scholarship recipients are, from the MTC Moultrie campus, Jennie Bradley, Maricela Duvergel, Phillip Spires and Pamela Williams; from the MTC Tifton campus, Julie Childers, Josie Ginwright, Tracy Harp and Christine Harper; and from the MTC Turner County campus, Janice Baldree, Calizza Boatright, Jodi Cawley, David Caylor and Thomascina Walls.
