Moultrie Technical College celebrated the grand opening of the Esthetics Skin Care Clinic on its Veterans Parkway Campus with a ribbon cutting event in partnership with the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce on October 14. The Esthetics program hands-on training laboratory was formerly located on the college’s Industrial Drive Campus until the 2010 Fall quarter. In the newly renovated spa-like facility, which previously served as one of the Colquitt County Board of Education Pre-K sites, skin care services will continue to be offered to the public at a discounted rate and by appointment Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Services offered and performed by MTC’s Esthetics program students include facials, waxing, microdermabrasion treatments, chemical exfoliation, non-surgical facelifts, Vascu-Touch treatments and light therapy. Pictured, left to right, cutting the ceremonial ribbon are MTC Foundation board member and Esthetics Clinic interior designer Dee Dee Collins, MTC President Tina Anderson, and MTC Esthetics program instructor Penny Copeland. For more information on the MTC Esthetics Skin Care Clinic or to make an appointment, contact Copeland at (229) 217-4221.
